Tardy launched on March 8, 2018 as a complete adventure game. Following launch, the developer added macOS support (July 13, 2018), Linux support (July 20, 2018), and released an official soundtrack as paid DLC on December 18, 2018. The last developer communication was a February 28, 2019 post noting text improvements made with the help of their publisher, Drageus Games, alongside the Nintendo Switch port. That post offered a warm thank-you to players and a vague, hopeful comment about the future — but no announcement of specific new content, updates, or plans. No further posts, patches, or DLC announcements have appeared since February 28, 2019. The sole DLC (the soundtrack) has been released, and no unreleased DLC exists on the store. The game has no seasonal content or live-service structure. Given that the last communication was on February 28, 2019 — over seven years before today — and all platform ports and the soundtrack were shipped by that point, the game is complete as a finished product. The completion date is tied to the release of the final DLC (the soundtrack) on December 18, 2018.
