Evaluation

Tennis Elbow 2013 is a fully released tennis simulation game that launched on Steam on March 13, 2015. It shipped as a complete, feature-rich product with no post-launch paid content or announced expansion plans. The developer, Mana Games, has periodically issued patches over the years — including feature updates like 144fps support (September 2017), a DirectX 9 engine upgrade (May 2016), and various bug fixes — but these are maintenance and compatibility updates rather than substantial new content additions. The most recent post on record is a bug fix from December 6, 2025, which repaired broken online functionality. The developer's attention has clearly shifted toward successor titles: Tennis Elbow 4 (announced for Early Access in May 2021) and Tennis Elbow Manager 2 (released in Early Access on Steam in June 2019). These sequels represent where new content and development effort are being directed. Tennis Elbow 2013 continues to receive occasional maintenance patches to keep it functional, but no new content is planned for it. The game launched as a complete package and remains so today.
