The Aquarium does not dance is a free-to-play horror adventure RPG that launched on February 14, 2024. It is a self-contained approximately 3-hour game with multiple endings, presented as a complete experience.
In July–August 2025, the developer released a Special Edition (as a separate Steam product, App ID 3675470) featuring full voice acting, a new scenario, updated UI, and new event CGs. To celebrate that launch, a free Character Talk DLC was released on August 8, 2025 for players of the original free version — the only DLC listed for this game, and it has shipped.
On August 3, 2026, the developer announced a store page for a new prequel title, The Aquarium does not dance: The Idol Who Wants to Die. This is a separate upcoming game in the series, not new content for this original game. A collaboration bundle and limited-time sale in March–April 2026 were also announced, but these are promotional activities, not new content for this version.
No additional content has been announced for this original game. The last substantive update directed at this game's players was the Character Talk DLC on August 8, 2025. The game is complete as a standalone product.
