The Assembly

The Assembly launched on July 19, 2016 as a complete, self-contained VR narrative game. Following launch, nDreams released a bug-fix patch on September 15, 2016, added HTC Vive motion controller support on November 21, 2016, and completed that rollout with Oculus Touch controller support on December 6, 2016. Alongside the motion controller update, they released free bonus content including the official soundtrack and wallpapers — both now available as released DLC. The November 2016 post explicitly framed the motion controller update as the studio's response to community feedback, and the language throughout suggests this was a deliberate wrap-up of post-launch support rather than the beginning of an ongoing content cycle. The last developer communication specifically about The Assembly was on December 6, 2016. A November 2017 post from nDreams promoted an entirely different game (Shooty Fruity), with no mention of any further plans for The Assembly. All DLC has been released, no future content has ever been announced, and there is no evidence of any planned expansions or updates. The game launched and was supported as a finished product.
