Evaluation
The Bard's Tale ARPG: Remastered and Resnarkled originally launched on December 11, 2009 and received a substantial remaster update on October 26, 2017 as part of inXile's 15th Anniversary celebration. This "Remastered and Resnarkled" edition — now the standard version of the game — added resolution improvements, Steam achievements, trading cards, full Steam overlay support, additional language support, and bundled the three original classic Bard's Tale games (1, 2, and 3). The store description reflects this complete, all-inclusive package. The two 2015 news posts referenced The Bard's Tale IV Kickstarter campaign, which is an entirely separate game. There have been no announcements of additional content, DLC, or updates for this title since October 2017. The game launched as a complete single-player experience and has received no post-remaster content additions. This is a finished product.
