Stories: The Path of Destinies launched on April 12, 2016 and received several patches in the months following release, culminating in the announcement of its soundtrack and artbook DLCs on June 2, 2016. The studio then shifted focus to their next title, Omensight, which shipped on May 15, 2018. After Omensight's release, Spearhead returned to Stories and delivered a substantial "Update #4" on October 5, 2018 — a remaster built on Unreal Engine 4.18 with improved graphics, performance, and a comprehensive list of bug fixes. The developer noted at the time that this update addressed the major outstanding issues the community had raised since launch. All DLC (the original soundtrack and artbook, both released June 2, 2016) has shipped. Since October 2018, the only news posted to the Stories store page has been announcements related to other Spearhead titles — most notably the January 25, 2024 Early Access launch of Unforetold: Witchstone — indicating that the studio's development focus has fully moved on. No further content for Stories has been announced or hinted at, and the game has been commercially complete since the October 2018 remaster update.
