The Culling of the Cows launched on May 9, 2014 as a complete 40-level side-scrolling shooter/tower defense game. After launch, the developer shipped three small feature updates between June and July 2014 (adding a cheat console, level badges, and achievements), and one further update on April 2, 2016 adding Steam cloud saving. The only DLC ever released is the Original Soundtrack, which shipped on April 22, 2016. There have been no developer communications of any kind since April 2016 — now over a decade ago. The store description describes a fully packaged product with a defined level count and feature set, and no future content has ever been announced. The game launched as a finished product and its post-launch activity has long since concluded.

With his dusty old 12 gauge at his side and god at his back, Sammy isn’t going to be taking too kindly to the infectious chaos of the big city’s leaking its way out into wild country. When all the lunacy started Sammy consulted God on what he should do, and the response was. KILL THEM! KILL THEM ALL!!!!
