The Deer God

The Deer God launched on February 27, 2015. Prior to its full release, the developer shipped two significant feature updates during the beta/early access period: Beta 0.2 on December 18, 2014 (adding bosses, new game modes, items, and terrain) and Beta 0.5 on January 23, 2015 (adding online multiplayer, a new boss, a jungle biome, and story elements). After the full launch, the developer posted two maintenance patches — one on September 10, 2015 fixing terrain, achievements, and quest issues, and a final one on December 18, 2015 addressing achievement and statue spawn fixes. That December 2015 patch is the last recorded communication from the developer. No new content, roadmap, announcements, or developer posts have appeared since then. The store description contains no indication of upcoming content, season passes, or ongoing updates. With over a decade of silence since the last developer post and no outstanding commitments, the game appears to have reached its completed state as of December 18, 2015.
