The Eastern Sacrifice launched on September 12–13, 2025 after a prior demo period. The developer was very active in the weeks following launch, shipping a series of bug-fix and feature patches between September 13 and October 21, 2025 to stabilize the game after a rocky release. In the October 21, 2025 update, the developer explicitly stated: "We plan to start adding new content in November." The day-1 and day-2 patch notes also acknowledged that the game shipped with "secretly half-finished" content and promised to "unveil new gameplay and content" once critical bugs were resolved.
However, after October 21, 2025, all developer communication stopped entirely. No November content update was released or announced. No posts of any kind — patches, news, or status updates — have appeared since that date. As of June 20, 2026, this represents over eight months of silence following a clear public commitment to deliver new content the following month. The promised content has not arrived, and the developer has offered no explanation for the delay or silence. This makes it genuinely unclear whether the planned content is still being developed.
