The Entrepreneur launched on August 27, 2023 as a complete adult visual novel. The developer, MisterMaya, described it as a finished game on Steam — the store description presents it as a self-contained story with a beginning and end determined by player choices. In a May 2024 post, the developer explicitly compared The Entrepreneur to the new project Law School, describing The Entrepreneur as "a complete game" that was released on Steam after its Patreon run concluded, following the standard practice for adult visual novel developers. No DLC or expansions have ever been announced or listed for The Entrepreneur itself.
Post-launch activity has consisted entirely of localization additions and bug fixes: Russian, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese were added in March 2024; Chinese was added in February 2025; and a French translation patch was applied in June 2025.
