The Grey Dream - Season 1

The Grey Dream - Season 1 completed its full story run with the release of Episode 7 ("The End") on August 19, 2025 — the same day the game officially left Early Access. The developer stated: "After 3 years of development, we are proud to announce that season 1 is finally finished." That episode concluded the seven-part Season 1 arc that had been in development since 2022. Since then, the developer has been actively building Season 2, which is being published as a separate Steam product but is a direct continuation of the same story. On May 15, 2026, the Season 2 Steam page went live. On May 19, 2026, the first development status update confirmed that writing had been underway for about a month and that two scenes had already been rendered. On July 19, 2026 — the most recent developer communication — a second status update confirmed that two additional scenes (Scenes 3 and 4) had been completed, bringing the total to four scenes rendered for Season 2 - Episode 1. The developer noted they plan to shift even more focus onto The Grey Dream in the coming weeks. The developer also retroactively added sound effects to all scenes in Season 1 via a patch released on July 19, 2026, showing they remain engaged with the Season 1 product even while building Season 2. Season 1's own content is complete, but Season 2 — the continuation of this story — is in active production.
