The Ice Caves launched on April 11, 2022, and its store page makes ambitious promises about upcoming content: a full-length campaign, online high scores, large-scale multiplayer modes, co-op trials, and additional weapons, characters, and enemies. These commitments are still displayed on the store page and have not been marked as delivered or retracted. However, there are no developer news posts, update announcements, or patch notes of any kind on record. The only DLC listed is the soundtrack, which was released on July 17, 2020 — predating the game's own launch. There is no evidence that the promised campaign, multiplayer, or any of the other listed features have been delivered, and the developer has not communicated publicly about the game's progress at any point after launch. Given that the store page still advertises major content that appears undelivered, and the developer has been completely silent since at least the April 2022 release with no updates or announcements, it is unclear whether development is still ongoing or has quietly stopped.
