The Last Hero of Nostalgaia launched on October 19, 2022 on Steam and Xbox. The developers released one paid DLC — "The Rise of Evil" — on June 20, 2023, which added two new areas, three new bosses, and new weapons and armor. This was the only major content addition to the game. No further DLC has been announced or listed on the store, and no developer communications suggest additional expansions are planned.
Since the DLC launched, the team has continued to maintain the game with bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, most recently a bug fix patch on April 7, 2025. These updates address reported issues and polish existing content, but do not introduce new gameplay areas or story content.
There is only one DLC entry in the store listing, and it is fully released. The developer has not announced any further content plans, roadmaps, or upcoming expansions. The game appears to be content-complete as of the June 20, 2023 DLC release.
Evidence
