Evaluation
DARK SOULS™ II: Scholar of the First Sin is explicitly described in its store listing as "The definitive edition of DARK SOULS™ II," packaging all previously released content — the base game and its three DLC expansions — into a single complete product. It launched in this form on April 1, 2015 and has received no post-launch content updates. The two developer news posts on record are cross-promotional: one advertises ELDEN RING (November 4, 2021), and the other announces the restoration of PC online features following a security-related shutdown (October 25, 2022). Neither indicates any new content for this title. FromSoftware has made no announcements of additional content for this game, and its role as a bundled complete edition means it launched as a finished package.
Evidence
Store description explicitly calls this 'The definitive edition of DARK SOULS™ II,' stating it includes all DARK SOULS™ II content released to-date in one package.
Online features for the PC version were reactivated after a period of downtime. No new content announced.
