The Rogue Prince of Persia launched its full 1.0 version on August 20, 2025, after leaving Early Access. Free major updates continued through its first year, and the most recent, the Anniversary Update, arrived on September 17, 2026. It added the Freeze element, weapon affixes, new arenas, a reworked final boss, and other changes, and it combined the two major updates the developer had planned for 2026. On September 24, 2026, the developer announced that the Anniversary Update is the final update for the game and that the team is wrapping up its first year.
