The Sirena Expedition

The Sirena Expedition is a short solo-developed PSX-style horror platformer that launched on Steam on October 26, 2023. After launch, the developer (Giraffe Cat) continued polishing the game with several feature patches — adding post-game content, a checkpoint system, an accessibility menu, and new music. On February 19, 2024, the developer shipped v1.10, which added the final pieces of music and concluded with a clear statement: "I think the game is (finally) done!" This followed an earlier post from February 1, 2024 (v1.09) where the developer described that update as "the second last update to The Sirena Expedition." The only remaining item at that point was a soundtrack release, which arrived on April 15, 2024. After the game's content was wrapped up, the developer announced a Nintendo Switch port (launched August 16, 2024), but this represents a platform expansion rather than new game content. The only DLC listed is the official soundtrack, which has been released. No further content has been announced, and the developer's own communications make clear that the game reached its finished state. The game can be considered a complete, standalone experience.
