Evaluation
The Talos Principle VR launched on October 17, 2017 as a complete VR reimagining of the original game, bundling the full Road to Gehenna expansion at no extra cost. The store description confirms both the base game content and Road to Gehenna are included in the package — no additional paid content has ever been listed or announced.
After launch, the developer shipped a series of patches improving VR controls, fixing bugs, adding Windows Mixed Reality support (February 2, 2018), and finally adding Valve Index controller support on June 28, 2019. That Index controller update is the last developer communication of any kind for this game. A December 2019 anniversary post celebrated the original Talos Principle's five-year milestone but announced no new content for the VR version.
The game launched as a complete, self-contained package. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no announced future content, and no post-launch pattern of major content additions (the only content-tagged posts correspond to the launch itself). The developer has not posted any updates since June 28, 2019. Given that the game was a port/adaptation of a finished product — itself a complete release — this silence is consistent with the game having reached the end of its natural lifecycle. No further content has been announced or is reasonably expected.
