The World is Your Weapon

The World is Your Weapon launched on June 27, 2019 and received a busy period of post-launch updates throughout the summer and autumn of 2019. Two major content updates shipped: Ver 2.00 on July 26, 2019 (adding the Roguelike Dungeon mode) and Ver 3.00 on October 29, 2019 (adding the final floor of the roguelike dungeon and two ultimate weapons). Several smaller feature patches followed in between, rounding out the game's content. On December 20, 2019, the developer (Kagaya, a solo developer) posted an official statement explaining that he is a medical college student preparing for his pharmacist license exam in 2020, and that he was suspending updates on the game to focus on studying. He noted that if he passed his exam, he hoped to resume creative work after April 2020. That post is the last communication from the developer on record. Today's date is June 26, 2026 — more than six years after that final post, and well past the April 2020 window the developer mentioned as a possible return point. No further updates, announcements, or content have been released since. The game appears to have concluded its development cycle with Ver 3.00, with the December 2019 post effectively serving as a closing statement. The store description and DLC listing show no unreleased content. Given the elapsed time and the nature of the final post, the game is best understood as a complete, finished product.
