Toast Defense

Toast Defense launched on November 22, 2020 as a free-to-play tower defense game. The developer shipped a handful of updates in the months following launch: a bug fix and quality-of-life patch in December 2020, a content update adding Endless Mode and a new tower in December 2020, a balance patch in January 2021, and a seasonal theme removal in March 2021. The developer's largest update — a "Mega Update" overhauling the UI, adding tower upgrades, and reworking game systems — arrived on October 13, 2021, alongside the game's only DLC, an Aesthetics Pack of cosmetic skins. At the time of the DLC release, the developer explicitly stated that any future skins would be added to that same DLC pack, and there would be no separate aesthetic DLC releases. No further updates, announcements, or developer communications have been made since October 13, 2021. The developer noted in April 2021 that post-launch attention to Toast Defense had been limited due to work on a separate game (Seafarers), and the October 2021 Mega Update appears to represent the promised return to the game — which then concluded with no further posts. There are no unreleased DLC items, no announced future content, and no developer communications after October 13, 2021. The game appears to have reached its completed state with the October 2021 update and DLC release.
