Totally Accurate Battle Simulator launched into full release on April 1, 2021 after a lengthy Early Access period. The developers at Landfall have been explicit and consistent about the game's content status. On January 17, 2024, Landfall shipped the Neon update — adding 20 new weapons, neon abilities, and cosmetics to the Unit Creator — and simultaneously announced this was "the last planned update for TABS." Their post stated clearly: "past this update, we have no plans for more content for the game." On July 18, 2024, Landfall followed up with a quality-of-life and bug-fix patch, reaffirming in that post: "As we announced back in 2022 we will no longer be adding more content to the game after the small neon update earlier this year. This Quality of Life Patch is most likely also the last major bug patch to be released for the game." On June 17, 2025, Landfall posted a definitive statement: "we're not making any more updates to TABS in the foreseeable future." This post was made in the context of announcing the TABS Pocket Edition mobile port (which launched in August 2025) and the studio's pivot to new projects including PEAK and HASTE. The mobile port was a standalone release and does not represent new content for the Steam version. The developer has been unambiguous across multiple official posts spanning over a year: the game's content development is finished. All DLC has been released, and no unreleased content is listed on the store.
