Evaluation
TRAFFIC launched on September 1, 2022 as a paid first-person psychological horror game. After launch, the developer shipped several patches and one major content addition — a free Halloween Event in October 2022. On February 24, 2023, the developer explicitly stated that v1.07 was "officially the last patch for this game," with the only potential exception being a VR edition if it were ever developed. That VR edition was never announced, and no subsequent posts mention it. On August 2, 2023, the developer made TRAFFIC free-to-play, citing it having been out for roughly two years and expressing a desire to move on to newer projects. That post does mention a planned "supporters update," but this was communicated in August 2023 and no follow-up content was ever released or announced — the developer had already declared the game complete six months earlier and was publicly focusing on a new game called "I REMEMBER." The game is now free-to-play and complete, with no unreleased DLC, no roadmap, and no outstanding developer commitments.

About this game
TRAFFIC is a fictional story inspired by my own personal experiences, various news articles, statistics, and national incidents that remain unexplained.

TRAFFIC is a First-Person Psychological Horror game about a troubled child in a home where he must deal with both internal and external stresses. You will communicate with your parents, do your chores, and stay out of the way.
Secure the front gate and lock your doors. You never know who might be out there.

TRAFFIC is about a family living in Wyoming as they traverse through the economic recession of 2008. You play as the single child in a family of three, along with your Mother and Father.
Experience the gut-wrenching tension and horrifying story of TRAFFIC as you make your way through the days, doing whatever you can to take your mind off of the traumatic events occurring.
Piece the story together as you notice tiny details within the dialogue and environments.

Huge thanks to Bazookya for creating an entire TV show segment. You can check him out on Twitch @ Bazookya
Huge thanks to Monk for taking my terrible MIDI music and producing it into something useful and awesome.
