Evaluation

Transport Fever launched on November 8, 2016 and received a series of substantial patches throughout 2016–2018, addressing performance, usability, and gameplay. Urban Games then shifted focus to the sequel: Transport Fever 2 was announced in April 2019 and officially released on December 11, 2019, which effectively marked the end of meaningful development on the original game. No further updates to Transport Fever have been posted since the 2018 performance patch, and no DLC or additional content was ever released for it. The studio's attention has since moved fully to Transport Fever 3, which was announced in May 2025 for a 2026 release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. There is no announced or unreleased content for the original Transport Fever, and the developer has clearly moved on to successive titles. The game shipped as a complete product and has received no content additions beyond patches.
