Transport Giant launched on Steam on September 5, 2014, as a re-release of a classic transport simulation title. The developer shipped an initial feature patch on launch day (September 5, 2014) addressing interface, signaling, and gameplay improvements, followed by a final patch on April 25, 2017 that fixed AI opponents, added Italian language support, and introduced Steam Achievements. No further updates to the game itself have been issued since that date. The two news posts from December 2023 and October 2024 are cross-promotional announcements for a separate game (Industry Giant 4.0) posted to the same publisher's Steam page — they contain no information about new content or ongoing development for Transport Giant. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmap, and no developer statements indicating future content is planned for this game. Transport Giant appears to have launched as a complete product and received its last meaningful update in April 2017.

You establish a transport company in the year 1850 and try to make as much profit as possible over the next 200 years.
