Tree Simulator 2023 launched on April 1, 2022 and received a series of post-launch updates through early 2023: a Halloween Mode update (October 15, 2022), a Christmas Mode update (December 3, 2022), a multiplayer achievement update (December 18, 2022), and a region filter patch (January 7, 2023). That January 2023 patch was the last substantive update to the game itself.
From late 2022 onward, the developer's attention visibly shifted to a new title, Nautikin Adventures. The December 2022 patch notes explicitly noted that time available for future Tree Simulator work "will be directly affected by" development of Nautikin Adventures. Nautikin Adventures launched in March 2023 and reached its 1.0 release in April 2025. The developer's most recent communication with Tree Simulator 2023 players (February 2025) was an announcement of a community "Developer Tree Time" event — a social multiplayer gathering, not a content update — and the developer noted they would use the event partly to discuss Nautikin Adventures.
No future content has been announced for Tree Simulator 2023, no unreleased DLC is listed, and the developer has not indicated any plans to return to it. The game appears to have shipped as a complete, self-contained experience, with its last meaningful content addition arriving on January 7, 2023.

Be the best forest you can be! Invite up to 250 glorious trees to join your forest. You can host a server and set the amount of trees that can join along with passwords and making the lobby private. Servers that are public will appear in a lobby list when trees click "Join". If a server is private you will only be able to join if that person is on your friends list or by invite.
For transparency, multiplayer is tested with 4 trees, but it should support up to 250.
There is no built-in voice chat. It is recommended that Discord or Steam chat be used.

Join a game from an invite
- Host tree presses [Esc] on the keyboard
- Host tree clicks "Invite"
- Host tree uses invite dialog to invite other trees
