Trove is a free-to-play massively multiplayer action RPG that launched on July 9, 2015 and has been operating as a live service for over 11 years. The developer, gamigo US Inc., continues to maintain an active and consistent cadence of seasonal events, new gameplay systems, and ongoing infrastructure work.
In August 2026, the team shipped the Tiny Quests feature — a new Ally progression system — alongside the Elysian Initiation seasonal event (August 4–18, 2026). A new PvP overhaul called "Rematch!" was announced on August 27, 2026 and is currently in public test server (PTS) testing, with the developer explicitly noting that "some aspects of this update are still in development."
The August 2026 Community Letter (published August 13, 2026) confirms ongoing plans, including responses to player questions about future Patron reworks, Hub redesign possibilities, and PvP improvements — with the team stating they plan to discuss the future of PvP in an upcoming livestream.
