Turbo Pug DX launched on September 26, 2016 as a casual runner game. Its only DLC — the official soundtrack — was released on November 28, 2016, completing the game's commercial content. The developer's communications since launch have been about other projects rather than new content for Turbo Pug DX itself. A January 2018 post mentioned Turbo Pug 2 as a separate upcoming game, and a March 2018 post briefly promoted Turbo Pug DX going free temporarily while again teasing Turbo Pug 2. Neither post announced any new content for Turbo Pug DX. The last developer post in this game's news feed is from March 15, 2018, now over eight years ago. The store description contains no language suggesting future updates or live content.
