Montaro

Montaro is a small casual runner game that launched on July 25, 2016 as a complete, self-contained product. Post-launch activity was limited to a couple of bug fixes and a language support patch in the days immediately following launch — nothing that suggests an ongoing content roadmap was ever planned. The most notable development since launch is that the developer moved on to create a spiritual successor: Montaro RE was released in November 2018, and a demo for Montaro 2 was published in June 2023. These announcements were posted on Montaro's Steam news feed, but they are separate products on their own store pages — not content additions to the original game. The original Montaro itself has received no updates since mid-2016. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, and no developer statements indicating further content is planned for this game. It launched as a finished product and has remained unchanged.
