Twilight Struggle launched on April 13, 2016 as a digital adaptation of the classic board game. Its only post-launch content was the Turn Zero & Promo Cards expansion, which released on December 19, 2016, adding alternate starting scenarios and new cards. That DLC is the sole item in the DLC list and is fully released. Since then, the developer has issued only maintenance patches — the most recent being on August 26, 2022 — focused on bug fixes, rules corrections, and graphical improvements, with no announcements of new content. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmap, and no developer statements indicating further content is planned. The game's nature as a faithful digital adaptation of a finished board game also supports this — there is no indication Playdek has plans to expand beyond what the board game itself contains. The content for this title was complete as of December 19, 2016, when the Turn Zero expansion shipped.

About this game
Twilight Struggle is a strategy game set in the Cold War that presents new and different challenges with every game session. The game map is a world map of the period, whereon players move units and exert influence in attempts to gain allies and control for their superpower. The playable events in the game cover a vast array of historical happenings, from the Arab-Israeli conflicts of 1948 and 1967, to Vietnam and the U.S. peace movement, to the Cuban Missile Crisis and other such incidents that brought the world to the brink of nuclear annihilation.
