TY the Tasmanian Tiger 4 originally launched on Steam on September 17, 2015 as a complete game. The two DLC items released on launch day — an art book and a soundtrack collection — were both available immediately and contain no in-game content. No further DLC was ever announced or listed as unreleased. Years later, Krome Studios undertook a significant overhaul of the game under the "Bush Rescue Returns" banner. After an open beta period beginning November 17, 2023, the completed Bush Rescue Returns update shipped to all players on June 18, 2024. This update added full English voice-overs with a returning cast, remastered audio and music, and improved graphics with extended animated cutscenes — a meaningful upgrade to the base game rather than new level content. Following the Bush Rescue Returns release, the only subsequent developer communication was a security patch on October 4, 2025, addressing a Unity engine vulnerability. This is maintenance work with no indication of further content development. The developer has not announced any upcoming content, expansions, or roadmaps following the Bush Rescue Returns update. The game has two major content milestones: the original 2015 launch and the Bush Rescue Returns overhaul in June 2024. With all DLC released, no announced future content, and the most recent developer post being a routine security fix rather than any content announcement, the game's content appears complete as of June 18, 2024.
