Evaluation
UniBall launched on February 24, 2017. In the weeks following launch, the developer posted a handful of updates: a new Asia server (February 25, 2017), a progression system (March 5, 2017), and a Linux build (March 28, 2017). That Linux post also mentioned macOS was "next up on the docket," but no macOS release or any other developer communication has appeared since March 28, 2017. There is no post-launch pattern of major content updates — only three small feature patches in the first month after launch. No roadmap, no announced DLC, no unreleased content in the store listing, and no developer posts of any kind since March 2017. The game appears to have shipped as a complete, finished product with a brief burst of post-launch polish updates. The March 28, 2017 Linux patch represents the last known developer activity.
Evidence
Linux build released; macOS mentioned as next planned platform. This is the last developer communication on record.

About this game
One of the longest running independent games on the Internet, UniBall has evolved from a simple version of space hockey into an online multiplayer e-sport that is uniquely its own.
The basics remain simple and easy to learn: you maneuver, you pass and you shoot in order to score goals.
But beyond this simple design lies a surprisingly complex game involving teamwork and individual skill that can take a lifetime to master.
