UNSIGHTED launched on September 30, 2021 as a complete, self-contained action-RPG. In the months following launch, Studio Pixel Punk was very active with bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, culminating in the version 1.1 update on January 1, 2022, which added a range of player-requested features such as weapon loadouts, additional save slots, and accessibility options. The developer announced in December 2021 that a "big QoL update" was in the works — and that promise was fulfilled by the version 1.1 release shortly after. The most recent substantial update was the addition of Steam Cloud Save support on March 1, 2024, which the developer described as a long-requested feature they had been carefully testing to avoid data loss. Since March 1, 2024, there have been no further developer communications. The game has only one DLC listed — the original soundtrack, which released alongside the game. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced expansions, and no roadmap pointing to future content. The developer has not made any statements about ongoing or planned content beyond what has already shipped. With all announced content delivered, no outstanding commitments, and no post-launch major content cadence (only one major infrastructure update — cloud saves — across the entire post-launch period), the game appears to have reached its final state as of March 1, 2024.
