Last Vanguard left Early Access with its full 1.0 release on May 15, 2025, which added the final area. Two smaller updates followed: a map rework on June 4, 2025 and a set of minor fixes on August 3, 2025. In its April 30, 2025 launch announcement, the developer said it planned to keep updating the game after 1.0 and, if community support allowed, to expand it with free content in the future, but no specific future content has been named. The developer's most recent post is dated August 3, 2025, and nothing has been published since, with no explanation for the silence. The developer has not declared the project finished, and the stated plan for future free content has no visible follow-up, so the status of any further content is uncertain.
