Vagabond is a solo-developed 2D sandbox RPG currently in Early Access, entered on May 1, 2023. The developer, Pierre Vigier, has maintained a consistent cadence of major content updates throughout Early Access: versions 0.3.0 through 0.10.0 have shipped across 2023–2026, each adding substantial new systems (dungeons, world generation, lore history, fishing, mounts, and more).
The most recent update, version 0.10.0 released on August 29, 2026, added mounts, a minimap, and quest quality-of-life improvements. Crucially, it also includes a concrete developer roadmap: three more updates are planned before the game's 1.0 release — a Mods update, a Jewelry update, and a General Improvements and Polishing update. The developer states that 1.0 is planned for "end of Q1/beginning of Q2 2027."
