Evaluation
Vector launched on December 3, 2013 and received a series of post-launch updates. The developer shipped two major content additions: the free Hunter Mode DLC on June 27, 2014, and a bonus tracks update on August 21, 2014 that the developer explicitly described as completing the game's planned content — "Now our game contains all tracks we have planned for it." This statement directly confirms the developer considered the game's content complete at that point.
A May 2014 announcement had also teased a Level Editor with Steam Workshop support as a planned future feature, but this was never delivered. Given that the subsequent August 2014 update explicitly marked the completion of all planned tracks, and the developer shifted focus entirely to a sequel (Vector 2 / Vector|LAB), it is clear the Level Editor promise was abandoned in favor of the sequel. The last developer communication of any kind was on July 17, 2015, when a closed beta for Vector 2 on iOS was announced — over a decade ago as of June 2026.
The store description reflects the completed feature set (Hunter Mode, controller support) with no mention of upcoming content. No unreleased DLC is listed. The game has been stable and complete since August 2014, with the developer having moved on to their sequel.
Evidence
Developer announced the bonus tracks update and explicitly stated 'Now our game contains all tracks we have planned for it,' signaling that all planned content had been delivered.
Free Hunter Mode DLC released, adding a second playable role with rebalanced tracks for all levels.

About this game
Vector is an exciting, arcade-style game featuring you as the exceptional free runner who won’t be held down by the system. The game opens with a view into a totalitarian world where freedom and individually is nothing more than a distant dream. But the heart of a freerunner is strong, and you so break free. Run, vault, slide and climb using extraordinary techniques based on the urban ninja sport of Parkour all while being chased by “Big Brother” who’s sole purpose is to capture you and bring you back.
Inspired by the practice and principles of Parkour, Vector’s intuitive controls please players of all levels, and sophisticated level designs challenge the most demanding players with fast-paced timing puzzles as the traceur “flows” over the rooftops.
- Hunter Mode: Tired of being chased? Start fighting on Big Brother’s side and hunt down opponents to shock them with your trusty taser!
- Controller Support: Enjoy the run with your favorite gamepad!
The best parkour-inspired action game! Vector lets you break free and run! Don’t get caught!
