Vertigo Remastered launched on July 21, 2020 as a complete reimagining of the 2016 original. Following launch, the developer shipped one paid DLC — the Sandbox DLC — on October 15, 2020, which added a level editor, player skins, new weapons, and new game modes. A smaller feature patch (the Spawn Gun update) followed in January 2021, adding a new tool for Sandbox DLC owners. Both DLC entries in the store listing are marked as released, and no additional content has been announced or listed since.
Since early 2021, developer activity on this game has been limited to occasional maintenance: a security vulnerability fix on October 3, 2025 and minor visual glitch fixes on May 19, 2026. These are purely technical upkeep patches with no new content. The developer's focus has clearly shifted to the sequel, Vertigo 2, which launched in March 2023 and received its own DLC ("Into the Aether") in April 2025 — an event that prompted a sale on Vertigo Remastered but no new content announcement for it.
The store description does not reference any planned future content, and no roadmap or unshipped content has been communicated. The game launched as a complete story-driven experience, shipped one content expansion, and has since received only maintenance updates. All content has been delivered.
