Evaluation
Prodeus launched into full 1.0 release on September 23, 2022 after a period in Early Access beginning November 2020. At launch, the team stated they were "not stopping here" and had already begun working on DLC content. On September 30, 2023, they officially revealed The Elder Veil, a named expansion DLC, with a dedicated reveal trailer. On May 20, 2025, the team posted a reassurance update acknowledging that "lots of things have been happening over the last year or so" and confirming that work on The Elder Veil is continuing, with composer Andrew Hulshult returning to create new music for it. However, that May 20, 2025 post is now the last developer communication on record — more than 16 months ago as of September 24, 2026 — and no release window has ever been provided. The developers themselves flagged a prolonged period of silence before that May 2025 update, and a similarly extended silence has followed it with no further news. The Elder Veil remains unshipped and unscheduled, making the current state of its development unclear.
Evidence
Developer confirmed The Elder Veil DLC is still in development and that composer Andrew Hulshult is returning to make new music for it. Team acknowledged a prolonged quiet period but said they wanted players to know work is ongoing.
Last known developer communication, now more than 16 months ago as of September 24, 2026, with no release window given and no follow-up posts since.
