Video World

Video World is a short, self-contained Halloween synth-pop musical game released on January 21, 2021. It launched as a finished product with 3 songs and rhythm-based gameplay, explicitly described as a companion piece to a music EP. The soundtrack DLC was released on January 27, 2021 — six days after the game itself — completing the store's content offering. There have been no major updates, expansions, or post-launch content patches. The only developer news post (October 18, 2022) was an announcement for an entirely separate follow-up game, "A Halloween Valentine," described as a spiritual successor. That announcement makes no reference to new content coming to Video World itself. The game appears to have launched as a complete, finite experience and has received no additional content since its soundtrack DLC shipped in January 2021.
