Volted launched on July 10, 2018 and received a handful of updates in its first year. The developer shipped two major content drops post-launch: a new map (Desert Mountains, August 22, 2018) and an expanded NPC roster (November 7, 2018). Several feature patches followed, with the final recorded developer communication being a small quality-of-life update on May 8, 2019 — the ability to spot enemies for teammates. Since that date, there have been no further posts, announcements, or updates of any kind. That last communication was over seven years ago (May 8, 2019). The developer had been active roughly every 1–3 months during 2018 into early 2019, so the silence since May 2019 far exceeds any reasonable continuation of that pattern. No DLC was ever listed, no roadmap was outstanding at the time of the last post, and no future content was promised in that final update. The game appears to have reached the end of its development cycle and is complete as shipped.

Volted is a very intense team-based multiplayer vehicular shooter with classes and giant robotic bugs.
In the world where electricity became main resource, all you left to do is fight for it.
Blow up enemies, destroy and protect pylons, fight robotic bugs and bulldogs. Collect guns on the battlefield and unlock models and new weapons. Cannons, machine guns, shotguns, energy weapons - all that beauty is there for you to bring destruction or prevent it.
Interact with each other by recharging shields, feeding energy and restoring each others’ ammo capacity.
There are four vehicle classes: Hover, Tank, Copter and Artillery. All 4 classes are deeply integrated into a team and squad cooperation system that is essential for gaining the victory. You can find different types of ammunition, endurance and speed abilities when exploring the battleground with each class. Besides the above listed capabilities, each class has a unique resource ability that your team requires the most to complete key objectives. In order to obtain this unique resource, you need to stay near the appropriate vehicle class.
