Vtuber Simulator was released on August 8, 2021 by solo developer Ryan of RA Studio. The developer posted a launch announcement on August 9, 2021, and that is the last recorded communication. Prior to launch, a single announcement post from July 25, 2021 described the transition from a mobile game to a PC release. There are no DLC listings, no roadmap, no post-launch updates, and no developer communications after the launch day post. The game was created as a passion project in the developer's spare time and appears to have shipped as a complete, standalone product with no post-launch content cycle ever established. With no further updates or announcements in the nearly five years since release, the game is considered complete as shipped.
