We combined a self-moving chess game with an RTS game to create a multiplayer strategy game with legion battles. Match and combine the cards of your choice, build your army from nothing to the cool feeling of thousands of troops, then crush your opponent, and finally eat chicken to win.

WarLeague launched on Steam Early Access on January 3, 2023. In the months following launch, the developer (SmallToAnt) was actively updating the game with seasonal content — including multiple battle pass seasons, new artifacts, balance patches, a tournament system, and new game modes. The game also suffered a server hack on January 29, 2023, which the developer addressed with a compensation plan.
However, on April 22, 2023, the developer posted a notice (in Chinese) announcing a temporary service suspension, stating that the game had been found to have similarities with another game and that negotiations were underway. This was the last post ever made by the developer. No updates, patches, announcements, or communications of any kind have appeared since April 22, 2023 — more than three years ago.
The game remains listed on Steam as an Early Access title with no 1.0 release date announced. There is no information available about whether the legal dispute was resolved, whether the development team is still active, or whether the game will ever resume updates or reach a full release. Anyone considering purchasing or playing this game should be aware that it appears to have been abandoned without any formal announcement from the developer.
