Warm Snow launched on January 19, 2022 and has received two substantial DLC expansions since then. DLC1, "The Ash of Nightmare," launched free on November 3, 2022, adding a full Nightmare World mode, five bosses, six endings, and over 30 new skills. DLC2, "The End of Karma," launched on December 5, 2023, delivering five new chapters, six new bosses, three different endings, three new sects, a new talent system, 25 new divine weapons, and more. Both DLC packs are released, and no further DLC has been announced or listed on the store. Following DLC2's launch, the developer continued to polish the game with difficulty tuning, new skins, and a new challenge mode through early 2024. The most recent developer communication was on January 23, 2025 — a bug fix patch addressing display and translation errors — accompanied by a January 19, 2025 anniversary post in which the developer added Korean localization and expressed hope for continued community engagement. That anniversary post is a warm community message rather than an announcement of new content or a roadmap for future releases. The two-DLC release pattern (roughly 13 months apart) established a clear content cadence, but the last major content drop was DLC2 in December 2023, now over two and a half years ago. No new DLC, expansion, or roadmap has been announced since. The developer's last substantive communication was in January 2025, and no future content commitments remain outstanding. The game was also supplemented with an art book (June 2024) and official soundtrack (September 2024), which are companion products rather than game content — consistent with wrapping up a completed release. All available evidence points to DLC2 being the final major content addition, making December 5, 2023 the date when the game's content became complete.
