Warplanes: Battles over Pacific launched into Early Access in mid-2022 and officially left Early Access on January 26, 2023, when a free content update added three new aircraft (Spitfire Mk.V, F7F Tigercat, and F-82 Twin Mustang). The developer confirmed in their December 2022 announcement that this update would mark the end of the Early Access period. Looking at the full post-launch history, the game received a graphics improvement update in September 2022, a multiplayer features patch in December 2022, and the three-aircraft content update upon full release in January 2023. That accounts for all three major content releases logged for this game — none have come after the January 2023 1.0 launch. Since January 2023, the developer has posted only one communication: a brief security patch on October 14, 2025 (version 1.5.6.3f), which updated the Unity engine for security purposes.
