Weed Shop 4: Highland

Weed Shop 4: Highland launched into Early Access on April 20, 2026, with the developer openly admitting the game was "unpolished, untested, and barely playable" at release. Since then, the studio has maintained a consistent monthly update cadence. A bug-fix patch dropped on April 25, 2026 addressing critical crashes, tutorial issues, and economy rebalancing. On May 23, 2026, "Monthly GigaPatch #1" arrived with substantial new content: a new in-game phone system, utility infrastructure (water and power), a new grow location, a new shop location, skateboards, furniture, and dozens of bug fixes. On June 20, 2026, "Balance Patch #2" followed with a full difficulty system overhaul, reworked grow mechanics, new furniture items, and additional quality-of-life improvements. That same patch post outlines a clear queue of planned work still to come: item durability, paintable decorations, a new promotional system, in-town grow locations, nutrients and boosters, and a replacement mission/progression system. The game is actively being built out, and the developer is communicating regularly about what's next.
