Where It All Began – Season 1 is currently in Early Access, having launched on July 4, 2025. The developer, OceanAVN, is a solo creator actively working on the game. The pre-launch announcement on June 26, 2025 confirmed that all future Season 1 updates will be free, and that two Wallpaper DLCs are planned for after the game leaves Early Access. On December 24, 2025, the developer posted a holiday update noting that a new Where It All Began update would be entering development "very soon," while acknowledging they post bi-weekly development logs on SubscribeStar (freely available on Reddit after two days).
