While the Iron's Hot launched on December 5, 2023 after four years of development. Following launch, the developer (Bontemps Games) released two hotfix patches addressing community-reported bugs — one in December 2023 and one in January 2024. On December 6–7, 2024, to mark the game's one-year anniversary, the developer released the official soundtrack as a standalone DLC and dropped a third hotfix (Hotfix #3) that added an autosave system and two new in-game potions (a New Game+ potion and an alternate-ending potion). This December 2024 patch represents the last known developer communication.
The only DLC on the store is the soundtrack, which has been released. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced expansions, and no roadmap pointing to future content. The December 2024 anniversary update had the feel of a celebratory capstone — adding quality-of-life features and replayability tools — rather than a setup for further content. The developer has not made any posts since December 7, 2024 (over six months ago as of today's date of June 22, 2026), and there are no outstanding commitments or announced plans for additional content. The game launched as a complete narrative adventure and the post-launch support has been focused on polish and bug fixes rather than expanding the content scope.
