White Hell is a retro-style first-person shooter that entered Early Access on August 12, 2021 and has been steadily built out since. The developer, Robert Raulus, has shipped nine major content patches over the course of Early Access, steadily adding levels, enemy types, weapons, and systems. The most recent major update was Content Patch #7 on December 21, 2025, which added Level 19 — described as the penultimate level of the game. On May 19, 2026, the developer posted an announcement confirming that work is underway on the final pieces of the game: finishing the final boss (Tuoni), overhauling Level 12, adding an "extra kick" feature, and general fixes. The post explicitly states that the next update will be the one that takes the game out of Early Access. This means the 1.0 release is actively in progress and imminent. The game remains in Early Access as of today (June 24, 2026), and the final update has not yet shipped. Players who want the complete, finished version of White Hell should expect it very soon based on the developer's own communication.

About this game
