Arkos launched on November 3, 2021 with five episodes, then received two additional free episode updates post-launch: Episode Six on December 3, 2021, and Episode Seven on December 15, 2021. When Episode Seven shipped, the developer explicitly stated "Now game reach a final form!" — a direct declaration that the game was complete. The game's store description aligns with this, listing seven episodes and seven weapons as the full package. The only DLC ever released was the soundtrack on November 10, 2021, which has shipped. On March 15, 2023, the developer announced work had begun on a sequel (Arkos 2), further confirming that the original game's development had concluded and the studio had moved on. No new content for the original Arkos has been announced or released since December 2021.

Arkos is a first-person fantasy shooter with destructible voxel environment. You play as the white wizard Arkos, who went in search of a powerful weapon of his teacher, who disappeared without a trace many years ago in the dungeons of an ancient castle.
Game inspired by the classic old first person shooters of the 90s like Heretic, Hexen and Catacomb3D, but rendered in one TRUE voxel volume.
