Chop Goblins

Chop Goblins launched on December 12, 2022 as a compact, self-contained micro FPS. The developer delivered post-launch content through a free update on May 5, 2023 (adding 5 remix levels and Nilbog Mode) and a small paid DLC pack (Cabinet of Curiosities) the same day. The Anniversary Update on December 1, 2023 added two new weapons and gameplay improvements, and closed with the developer reflecting warmly on the game's first year — noting the support they'd given it and saying "only time will tell what else the future holds for the goblins," which is a fond but non-committal farewell rather than a commitment to further content. No new content for Chop Goblins itself has shipped since December 1, 2023. The October 2025 news post about a PS5 release is a platform port announcement, not new game content. Both DLC entries on the store are released. Since December 2023, the developer has been active — shipping other games (Butcher's Creek in January 2025, Secret Agent Wizard Boy in March 2025) and announcing demos — but has not communicated any plans for additional Chop Goblins content. The game launched as a deliberately short, complete experience, and the post-launch update pattern has clearly wound down, with the last Chop Goblins content update dating back to December 1, 2023.
