POSTAL: Brain Damaged

POSTAL: Brain Damaged launched on June 9, 2022 as a complete boomer-shooter experience. Post-launch, the developer Hyperstrange delivered a free Horde Mode update on November 10, 2022 to celebrate the POSTAL series' 25th anniversary, adding three survival arenas. The game's first paid DLC, "These Sunny Daze," was revealed on June 5, 2025, announced with a release date on August 14, 2025, and launched on September 9, 2025. It adds a new story chapter, five new weapons, fresh enemies, and new gameplay systems. Following launch, Hyperstrange issued a weapons balance patch on September 15, 2025, a hotfix on September 18, 2025, a content update adding a new Survival Mode map and other improvements on November 5, 2025, and a second performance optimization patch on December 16, 2025 — wrapping up the two-stage performance improvement plan the team had publicly committed to. All three DLC items listed on the store are released: the soundtrack (June 17, 2022), the art book (June 9, 2022), and These Sunny Daze (September 9, 2025). No unreleased DLC is listed. The developer has not announced any additional content beyond These Sunny Daze, and the December 16, 2025 patch explicitly completed the optimization plan that was the last outstanding post-DLC commitment. There have been no developer communications after December 16, 2025, and no roadmap or future content has been signaled. The game appears to have reached its content endpoint with the conclusion of These Sunny Daze's post-launch support in December 2025.
