Evaluation
White Night Dream launched on June 11, 2023 and received a flurry of bug-fix patches in the days immediately following release. One week after launch, on June 18, 2023, developer Renka published a post reflecting on the game and outlining future intentions. In it, they acknowledged that the game's story presentation had issues, and committed to at least one major update for White Night Dream — similar to how they had supported their previous games. They also mentioned they were already working on a larger follow-up project.
However, that June 18, 2023 post is the last official communication from the developer on record. No major update has been announced or confirmed as shipped, and the developer has not posted any further news, patch notes, or status updates since then. The promised major update may have been quietly delivered without a Steam announcement, or it may never have materialized — there is no way to confirm either way based on the available information. Given that the developer explicitly stated a major update was planned and has since gone completely silent, the status of that commitment remains unresolved.
Evidence
Developer post one week after launch: acknowledged story presentation issues, committed to at least one major update for White Night Dream (consistent with their previous games), and mentioned they are already working on a larger new project.
Last official developer communication on record. No posts, patches, or announcements have followed since June 18, 2023 — nearly three years of silence.

About this game
The game uses a simple gameplay of flipping cards to simulate the exploration of the streets at night.

Each location on the street has a different number of cards, and players must click on them in a reasonable order to pass through.

Different cards have different effects including attacking (mental damage), healing, damage-immunity and so on. Clicking on them in a reasonable order is the key to success.

Of course, you can also use skills to shuffle the cards. In addition to shuffling, you will also gain more skills during the game, which can form diverse and powerful combinations to help you overcome various challenges.

Skills come from different characters and you will encounter them in various locations during the game. Meeting those characters will drive the story forward until the end of the night.

Or... will it ever end?
